try saving https://somewhere/somepage.php. It asks for a file location, you
press the 'save' button and continue waiting for like forever.... ;-(

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open mozilla
2.go to a website that uses ssl (i.e. https://www.gevelfiets.net/)
3.open the 'file' pulldown menu or press y'left mouse button and select 'save
as'
4.get a filename to save the file to and press the save button

Actual Results:  waiting forever and the system slows while mozilla keeps
resources while apparently doing nothing

Expected Results:  mozilla save page to disk

and I can save this page (HTML only/All files)

It depends on the memory of your computer. I had the same Problem with files
that were larger than the available amount of memory. With smaller files I had
no trouble.
I tried it with mozilla versions from 0.9.5 up to 0.9.7-6 always with the same
result.

Darin, https pages are kept in memory cache only, right?  Could that trigger
this sort of problem?

HTTPS documents are stored in the memory cache only.  but, if a document is not
found in the cache it should be automatically refetched from the network.

bz: can you reproduce the problem?

Reporter (niels) can you check to see whether this bug is still present in a
recent build (Moz1-RC1 or a new nightly build). If this bug does not occur
please can you resolve it worksforme. Thanks.
