Apparently running at a too-small resolution: a Mac reftest run should start out by saying "DRAWWINDOW_USE_WIDGET_LAYERS; window size = 800,1000; test browser size = 800,1000" but this one did one saying "DRAWWINDOW_DRAW_VIEW; window size = 800,928; test browser size = 800,1000" so it wasn't even able to get its whole 800x1000 window into view.
Wups, over copy-pasted and then submitted before I discovered those things are saying the same thing: it's running at 1280x1024, which subtracting the Dock leaves less than 1000 vertical pixels, so reftest won't run right (nor will other things, but they're much worse than reftests about making it clear why they failed).
