MDN lacks documentation for the ::-webkit-file-upload-button pseudo-element. Reference: https://www.tjvantoll.com/2013/04/15/list-of-pseudo-elements-to-style-form-controls/#webkit-2
For a eventual mentee: the page lack of a live sample. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Structures/Live_samples You'll need Chrome or Safari to test it.
I want to solve this bug!
Twinkle: do you have the information needed to proceed? Do you need some more information?
yeah! Jean I need some information, where I have to make changes and what does 'live sample' on comment 1 means.
(In reply to Twinkle Chawla from comment #4) > yeah! Jean I need some information, where I have to make changes and what > does 'live sample' on comment 1 means. Jean-Yves obviously missed your request. You need to create the page here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/::-webkit-file-upload-button Here's an example how the page structure should look like: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/::-webkit-progress-value 'Live sample' means a demo page where you can see the pseudo-element in action. The page you create should include such a live sample. For more info how to embed such a live sample within the article see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Structures/Live_samples. Having said that, Twinkle, would you still like to work on this? Sebastian
No, I can't work on this for now.
Thank you for the fast response! I unassign you then. Sebastian
I can work in this bug.
(In reply to Patric Gustafsson from comment #8) > I can work in this bug. Great! I've assigned you now. Sebastian
I think I need some information to proceed. To create the page, should I file a new bug as the page suggests or send an email? What's the preferred way? Thanks.
I've created a stub page for you at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/::-webkit-file-upload-button. Now you should be able to continue working on it. Let me know if you need any help. Sebastian
I've updated the page. Take a look!
I've added a little more description to the summary. Otherwise it's fine. Thank you! Sebastian
