mail.log

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/47.0.2526.73 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

An email with no return address or any other obvious header information was in my mailbox. I tried to download all the mail in my imap inbox.

Actual results:

The connection would crash, resulting in an inability to get any new mail from the mailbox.

Expected results:

The email should of been disregarded and the connection should of downloaded the next email.

Sorry I should make myself clear. Only the connection would stop as seen in the section of log attached when I reported. There was not obvious error given to the user only emails would not come. Only when I used the MailNews log (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging) was I able to see that the error was with Thunderbird and not the server etc. I will add the interesting part of the log to the end of this email.

Dwane, so the message list contained a subject for the emessage and nothing else?
Depends on: 461293

IIRC it contained no information at all, it was a while ago and I had to delete the message from the server to get Thunderbird running correctly. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
