Details
1. Open page with search field, e.g. https://google.com 2. Long click on (empty) search field 3. Contextual action bar should appear (checkmark to hide bar on the left, add search engine icon on right) This doesn't appear on current mozilla-central (but appears in current release). (For non-empty search fields everything works as expected, the action bar also contains copy/paste/etc commands, and the add as search engine option appears last, usually in the overflow menu.)
