Can't possibly be dependent on that bug it has no functional effect. Must be something else in the range.

What exactly is wrong with the rendering? The link is not an SVG file it's a raster image showing what an SVG file should look like. The raster and the underlying SVG look pretty similar to me.

The original file seems to display correctly for me now. Something is wrong with Wikimedia's SVG conversion to PNG though because the PNG is not the same as the SVG

The SVG is https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5e/VilleBasse.svg and Firefox would seem to display it correctly.
