Flash script for windows and mac does not update the time correctly

Details
1. flash the device using the script with an engineering build
2. boot the phone
3. before going through the fte, do a adb shell date
Expected: the date/time is set correctly
Actual:
flashing on the windows or mac versions does not update the time correctly on the device.
