I talked to several people including Stuart Philip about shutting down the TPS infrastructure in SCL3 given that it is not actively used in the last year due to busted tests. As pointed out Services QA will get the tests up running on their own infrastructure. That means we can shutdown everything for TPS in qa.scl3.mozilla.com and re-use the mac minis for our needs.
I will work out a plan by early next week when I'm back at home.

Stuart, we still have the https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/tps-reports mailing list. Am I correct with my assumption that we can also get rid of this list? I think you want to have results on Treeherder instead?

Stuart is out until Mon 2016-01-18 on parental leave, but as far as I understand things, Treeherder is the desired location for test results.

I see. Lets get at least a second opinion then. Mark, do you know?

Nope - but it makes sense to me we'd use treeherder instead of a mailing list.

Alright, so I'm going to request the deletion of this public no longer used mailing list.

I didn't request a decommissioning for the 2 Mac Minis in that cluster. Instead I added them as spare machines to our ESX documentation:
https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/SV/QA+Automation+ESX+Service#QAAutomationESXService-SpareMacMinis
That way we could use them as replacement for any fautly mini of our mozmill-ci cluster.

Reopening because we missed an integral part here. The CI system also known as Coversheet has a github repository: https://github.com/mozilla/coversheet
Mark, can you please discuss if anything would be still required from it? If not we may remove the repository.

IIUC we don't need anything from coversheet, but I'm guessing - Karl, can you verify we no longer need it?

Looking at this today ... will have a yes/no answer by EOD Pacific. Not clearing needinfo yet.

Henrik --
My first instinct would be to keep the repo, if for no other reason than for me to mine it for historical information about how TPS was run -- I'm still catching up on TPS's history. I would be happy to take over administrative responsibility for it, however that is handled.
I am not sure how practical it is to move it from the mozilla org to the mozilla-services org, but I'm not sure that's necessary -- I have access to both.
Thanks for the heads-up, in any case.

Thanks Karl. Lets ask Jgriffin (the original author of coversheet) what he thinks is best. If we leave the repo we should at least mark it that development has been stopped.

I think we should just add a note to the repo that it's obsolete; no need to actually delete it.

Ok, I updated the top summary of the repository to show that deprecation warning.
