Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20151029151421 Steps to reproduce: 1. Went to an instagram user's feed 2. Scrolled to bottom 3. Clicked "Load More" 4. Tried to swipe down multiple times on the feed Actual results: When swiping up (to move down the page) it will move a little and then jump back up. It keeps doing this every swipe. Expected results: It should have scrolled perfectly like on desktop. (NOTE: The fact that it works differently on mobile makes me think that scrolling by swiping is handled differently than 3rd-wheel scrolling from the mouse on desktop. But it shouldn't be)
Kats, could this be related to the APZ changes?

What version/build of Firefox are you seeing this on? The UA string in comment 0 says Fx42 but the bug's Version field is set to Fx43. (APZ is not enabled on either 42 or 43, so it's likely unrelated).

I'm seeing it in the current Firefox Beta on Android. But I submitted it from my desktop (because typing in a bug report in a mobile phone/browser is not fun)

Ah, thanks. So it's not an APZ issue. Next steps here are (1) check to see if it still happens on nightly, and (2) if it does, stick a breakpoint in the layout scroll code to see who's triggering the scroll.
re comment 4, does this happen on Nightly?
