Confirmed, it works on the specific login page:
https://www.pinterest.com/login/

However should work too on the main page like chrome does.
Summary: Firefox doesn't prompt to save password for pinterest → Firefox doesn't prompt to save password for Pinterest's homepage https://www.pinterest.com/
MattN, the main page uses a signup flow which is multistage. Chrome does trigger a capture dialog after the second stage (enter first and last name), which may also trigger a page load.
Component: Password Manager → Password Manager: Site Compatibility
If this is still reproducible - and we believe that we could do with feedback from Pinterest engineers, please get in touch with myself - so that we can use our direct DL channel with them.
