Weird save-as dialog interaction

Details
When i download a file (right click -> save as), a dialog box comes up with
folder selection and file name input.
Initialy, it comes up in /root, and the original file name is filed in. However
'Save' is greyed out!
When i click in the filename input text box (without changing anything), the
'Save' button is enabled, and i can save the file.
This seems a bit like, not intended? ;-)
(im running 2002-02-01 0.9.8 snapshot, build from prestine .src.rpm)
