Details

I have built the latest CVS of NSS (tips) using using gcc 2.95.2 in Linux. It compiles fine, but when I try to run any of the tools, they can't load libplc4.so, even though it does exist right in the same directory as the tools are in.
Unix platforms (including Linux) do not look in the same directory as the tools are in for the .so's. You need to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to specify the shared library search path. The value of LD_LIBRARY_PATH is one or more pathnames, seperated by colon (:). For example, setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /home/wtc/lib or setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /home/wtc/lib:/home/wtc/nss/lib:/home/wtc/nspr/lib
