I would like to have ready access to my home page (as configured in Mozilla), but do not use (or like) the personal toolbar. Would it be possible to have some sort of shortcut URL (such as about:home or about:start) that automatically loads the configured home page?
What about the Alt+Home shortcut key?

Dean, your suggestions to this point have all been quite useful, but didn't achieve what I wanted. Your latest suggestion (making a bookmark with a home keyword) is very cool, and certainly does what I wanted. On reflection, the only reason I really wanted this change was opening new tabs doesn't open my home page anymore (the default behavior was changed, grrr...). I'm now pursuing that I can at least have a pref for opening my home page as the default action when opening a new tab, but I now have less interest in this bug. (Altho it may still be a useful idea if someone wants it.) Thanks for your help and suggestions.
