User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20151215164008 Firefox for Android Steps to reproduce: I usually download the latest Firefox for Android apk[1] from the FTP site as instructed on the wiki[2]. [1] https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/latest [2] https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android Actual results: The FTP site still shows v42.0.1 as the latest release. Expected results: It should be v43.

Unfortunately latest doesn't work anymore for Fennec and we don't have anything like https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/latest/README.txt yet.

I understand latest/ is just a link to another folder. Does that mean the last v43 entry, 43.0b8, is the same as the stable released v43 for example?

To be clear, it's not just that latest/ is not up-to-date -- the 43.0 release for Android appears to be completely missing from ftp.mozilla.org (there's 42.0.2, 43.0 betas and 44.0b1, but no 43.0).

Not exactly. This is an S3 bucket, and S3 doesn't support links. It's a copy of some version from the past... Fixing this now.

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/43.0/ is live now.
(In reply to Rail Aliiev [:rail] from comment #5) > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/43.0/ is live now. Thanks. Works great. Has this process been automated? Will future stable builds be made available in the same manner, regardless of the progress of Bug #1192279?
(In reply to Rail Aliiev [:rail] from comment #5) > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/43.0/ is live now. Thanks, but this afect this page [1], where the links is for the folder /latest on FTP. [1] https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/all/

Yes, this is automated, it was a glitch in the usual process this time. The only missing piece now is the "latest" stable location, which is not http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/lstest/ anymore. We can probably use Bouncer for this.
