There is a blue line that keeps on appearing at the top as shown on the screen shot.. It continue to show until I sweep-down and that is when it disappears. Am using foxfooding device

I have seen this also, This is actually the status bar saying there is a notification in the notification tray. Personally i have seen it there several times when there is no notification to alert for in the tray. Johan if i remember correctly you are the person i should ni. I do know this has been able to repro for at least a week now.

If I understand comment 0 correctly, it seems you're confused about this blue line at the top. Is that correct, Givemore? 
If that's the case, that has been designed back in 2.1 (see bug 927862). It shows you have notifications to read. See also the visual design at [1]

Now, regarding comment 16, I tried to reproduce, but I couldn't. Leaving steps-wanted for somebody else to try.

That's the an indication showing that you have unread notifications.

As for the issue observed in comment 16 I think a new bug should be created with STR so we're not hijacking bugs and turning it into something else that was not intended by reporter.

Can you please let us know if you are seeing it when you don't have any unread notifications? If you do have unread notifications and it is showing, then it would not be a bug. Thanks.

you are right,,, it is notification bar that indicates a notification. its not a bug.
