Steps to reproduce:

On my new x86 Android tablet I set up Firefox Sync to my existing [e-mail] account, both in Firefox from the Google Play Store and in nightly fennec-46.0a1.multi.android-i386.apk. After a while I visited about:accounts > Tap here to check Sync settings


Actual results:

None of my bookmarks or login passwords are synced.
Sync settings reports I'm signed in, Sync: enabled, and "Last synced: 15 minutes ago"
I've attached the `adb logcat` output, but only one line seems relevant:

Expected results:

My bookmarks and login passwords should be synced, as they are in Firefox for Android on my 2013 Moto X phone.

I can't explain what's happening here, but it doesn't appear that Sync is starting.  This can be for lots of reasons, but is often just no network connection.

The root cause is probably terrible memory issues with the Yoga Tablet 3 Pro. The kernel takes 1.2 GB, kernel caches are ~700 MB and it spends minutes in the memory critical state. So Android is probably killing Firefox Sync to free up memory, before Firefox itself exits (bug 1234652).

So Firefox bug here is Firefox should not report "Last synced: 15 minutes ago" when the sync did not happen at all and has *never* happened. "Last synced: 15 minutes ago (with errors)" would be better.

It's a bit annoying... I'm also having the same issue. Whenever I listen some podcasts from http://yogamatreviewer.com it's fine for few minutes. Then all of a sudden, the audio is out of sync. I've already cleaned up the disk space in my tablet, but this issue persists. Any idea?
