User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150812163655

Steps to reproduce:

TB was downloading a new IMAP folder with lots of e-mails with large attachments from an account, and while it was still downloading I tried to rename the folder, then I received the error below. After downloading the headers, I dragged the folder into a different IMAP account to move the files there, and while it was attempting to copy those emails, I attempted to rename the new destination folder to see if the problem would occur again and it did.

Actual results:

Thunderbird caused an error to appear in the top right of my OS X screen, per the attachment. All I could read from the message was "The current command did not succeed. The mail server for accoun..." but nothing happened when I tried to click it. OS X 10.10.5, TB 38.4.0

Expected results:

I should have been able to see the full error message somehow.
Severity: normal → S3
