Clicking on the sent folder to see the list of mails: mozilla uses 100% of the
cpu and didn't open the folder. The other folder (Inbox, Drafts, Templates and
Trash) are working.

I updated today from mozilla 0.9.6 to 0.9.8.
double clicking the sent folder opens an new mail window which hangs too.
Is this something that happens with a new profile?
If you quit Mozilla and delete Sent.msf in your old Mail\account directory - is
the Sent folder accessible again after new startup?

No, the profile is from mozilla0.9.6.
Deleting sent.msf, but the folder is not accessible. Mozilla generate a new
sent.msf.
