Using 1999082016 on win98 the password dialog doesn't come up until the biff value has been reached when it should come up upon launching Messenger. In 4.5 if you have the biff = true you will get the password dialog as soon as you launch Messenger regardless of what the biff value is set to. Last week, with Seamonkey, the password dialog came up as soon as I launched Messenger. I had to log a bug about it being hidden (11765), but now it doesn't come up until the biff value has been met. Make sure you have turned biff on for your pop account, and gave it a value of 1 1. Launch Messenger using apprunner -mail 2. Wait 1 minute, now the dialog comes up. Expected: You should have had a password dialog come up right away for your pop account. Result: The password dialog came up 1 minute after launching messenger

The way this works has changed. Per Spec: Biff only works if the user is currently log into the account." So the password dialog won't come up until the user clicks Get Msg. Currently all 3 platforms are working as documented. Will resolve as Invalid and verify.
