Steps to reproduce:

In comparison to other browsers the Firefox mobile appears to be slow on first page load. But the problem is more visible in pages with redirect on first load. For example short links from apps like Facebook and news app. http://snaptu-p1.facebook.com/v1/310402191/u/-3572258998637345573/2/x

Expected results:

Fast redirect and better DNS cache and preload

This is in response to duplicate https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1449048
In both examples I tapped on a link from a social media app to open in Firefox.

Buff.ly redirects to a HowToGeek page. The process takes less than 2 seconds: https://pastebin.com/sj8eynp6
It takes 7 seconds to redirect nbcnews.to to the main NBC site and load the page: https://pastebin.com/Prd6b1sB

""GeckoGlobalHistory: Rebuilding visited link set..."" and ""GeckoBrowserApp: BrowserApp.onTabChanged: 22: LOADED"" seem to play a bigger role in slowdown.
