User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0
Build ID: 20151029151421
Steps to reproduce:
FF was idle after normal usage. I stepped up to get coffee and when I can back my system was locked up.
Normal usage is :
38 tabs open, (gmail, Outlook Web Application, Google, Github, Confluence, Stash, Spark Docs).
Firefox was started less than 24 hours prior version 42.0.
My only active addon is OnePass. I also have ABP, but I disabled it since it caused FF to peg CPU at 100% after a dozen tabs were opened.
Actual results:
The OS suspended the Firefox process since it request more Physical memory than the OS had. (Requested 60.11G out of 16)
Expected results:
I don't want to have to restart FF because of memory issues.

Is this reproducible?
How about if you reinstall from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ ?
