User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20160109123208 Steps to reproduce: Gentoo system with ATI's fglrx driver (Using Radeon HD 7850). Build firefox-43.0.x without the egl flag. Also tried compiling --with-gl-provider=GLX Run firefox Actual results: The browser's window content is blank. A console message is displayed: Can't find symbol 'EGLImageTargetRenderbufferStorageOES' Right clicking the blank screen sometimes reveals the content. Disabling hardware acceleration in advanced preferences resolves the problem. Expected results: Should work normally even with hardware acceleration enabled. I understand fglrx driver doesn't support EGL interface, but in the previous versions (maybe before 42?) it would work without it. There is also a report about it in gentoo bugs here: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=569036
