point 1 is why is there no View->"apply theme" menu entry in
the mailnews window, like there is for navigator?
Anyway changing from modern->classic->modern crashed mozilla

Steps to Reproduce:
1. change themes
OK this crash doesn't seem specific to themes. I was sending
a mail previously and mozilla crashed. The backtrace points
to the same function!:

Reporter: Please always use severity level "critical" for crashes,
and add the keyword "crash". Thank you for using Bugzilla!
hrm, there is a known bug where we crash w/theme switching --bug 116038. but the
trace here is different.

i couldn't quickly find a mailnews bug where crashing occurred when sending
mail...i'll bop this over to mailnews to see if it's known. otherwise, if it is
really the theme switching that triggers it, then it would be a dup of 116038.

Reporter, can you reproduce this in a recent nightly (or even 0.9.9)?

The dynamic skin switching has gone away ...
