User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 2015122500 Steps to reproduce: Whenever using the middle click button anywhere on the page, firefox will redirect to a non related website.
Where it happens? Where to redirect? Can you reproduce it with Firefox safemode?

This is how Unix works. A workaround is available in bug 366945.

It happens anywhere, and where it redirects changes. It happens in safemode.
Status: RESOLVED → UNCONFIRMED

Try the middlemouse.contentLoadURL to false in about:config.

That seems to fix it. Shouldn't that be set to false by default? It seems like a bug that it is enabled.

So, it is a dupe of bug 366945. The workaround is available in the Whiteboard of bug 366945. Remember, don't easily change the status when provide more information, if it don't alter this conclusion.
