Steps to reproduce:

right mouse click on message, on conntect menu select transfer to event/task.



Actual results:

TB freeze with on top displayed context menu with white TB window , next system message "TB is not respnding". This is in most cases, not allways. TB version 38.5.1, but this issue was in previous versions TB and calendar

Probably duplicate of Bug 1213768. Do you use Czech localization of Thunderbird/Lightning?

You can try the following workaround: Customize the toolbar of the message preview pane and add the convert to event/task button to the toolbar. From the convert to event/task button dropdown menu select a different language for the email parsing.

Yes, I'm using Czech localization of Thunderbird/Lightning.
I have just added buttons to the pane, but there is only option - use czech language.
How can I add other (english) language ?

You'll have more languages available when using the AMO version of Lightning. The one packaged with Thunderbird currently only contains one.

Let's dupe it to 1280824 that should make this kind of freeze impossible in the future. Czech also fixed an error for Thunderbird 45 so the bug shouldn't occur any more.
