Hi, I found this in our external DNS:

vpn.mozilla.com (63.245.209.252)

Is this part of the now-defunct JunOS VPN project? Can we remove the external DNS for it?
Yes it is and yes you may. I'll reassign this back to you for removal as soon as I verify all the ACLs for it are gone.

You're welcome to pull it directly from Inventory, no need to involve me (I'm just the messenger :)
This IP address belongs to the SJC1 datacenter which no longer exists?
There are actually two IPs in DNS which reverse to vpn.mozilla.com, the other is in SCL3.
fw1.ops.scl3 has no mention of the scl3 IP address in any ACLs.

I've removed the following records from DNS:

63.245.215.250 PTR vpn.mozilla.com
63.245.209.252 PTR vpn.mozilla.com
ssl1.sjc1.mozilla.net CNAME vpn.mozilla.com
ssl1.sjc1.mozilla.com CNAME vpn.mozilla.com
vpn.mozilla.com A 63.245.209.252
