Details

Personal toolbar/bookmarks folder re-initialized on Netscape Navigator (current version) install. Mozilla Build 2002012203, Win98SE, standalone Netscape Navigator. Aren't the bookmarks in \windows\application data\mozilla\default\a;fdslkfa?
Steven, what do you mean by "re-initialized"? Are you using Mozilla or Netscape 6 (or both)?
I intended to mean that the personal toolbar data was re-initialized. Just a lot of fancy words for saying that when I installed the current version of Netscape Navigator (Navigator only), having previously installed mozilla in a completely different folder, I lost the contents of the Mozilla personal toolbar. I assume that Navigator does a stupid write to the same pathname located in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\h0sp67gq.slt\bookmarks.html. All I know is that the bookmarks are gone.
I'm sorry, but looking at this in black and white and it being a while since this happened, this needs to be verified. I will verify this bug and see if it's not imaginary. Please work on something else until I post a comment about this one.
