User Story

The current e-mail copy states: 
A friend is waiting for you on Firefox Hello. Click the link to connect and browse www.mozilla.org together: https://hello.firefox.com/qKmb95xZOdw#Ox9TI_FuWDRJdB7y1mF1RQ

Using "A friend" does not seem to make sense since the e-mail will be coming from the actual user's e-mail account.
The proposal is to replace "A friend is waiting for you" by "I am waiting for you"

I'd love to get a gut check from Sevaan, but it feels odd to me to write first-person copy on behalf of a user. I actually don't mind saying "A friend is waiting" since it's boilerplate text that the user can change.

Comment on attachment 8711818 [details] email Copy Change Was a decision made elsewhere whether to make this email generic (e.g. "a friend is waiting for you") vs. first person (e.g. "I am waiting for you")? I thought we decided to stick with third person.
This seems to be the only bug on this subject that a decision has not been decided on. Your call. I can close and won't fix as the third person is already used.
