Status panel doesn't display the right border when it's forced to appear at the right side of window
>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 46, 32bit, ID 20160114060719 STR: 0. Switch window to the "normal" (not maximized) mode 1. Open data:text/html,Link , press Tab key to display the status panel 2. Hover mouse over the status panel [make sure it jumps to the right side] Result: After Step 3 the status panel is displayed at the right side, but has no right border (visually) Expectations: Status panel should have all 4 borders (visually)
I see the case, but I think it was intentional. See the screenshot on Win10, with zoom to 500%, that is no border on the right and below.
(In reply to YF (Yang) from comment #1) > I see the case, but I think it was intentional. See the screenshot on Win10 I wonder what happens on that brand new OS version if user chooses white color for window. Tooltip doesn't have right and bottom border, that's correct. This bug is not about that. Are you implying that tooltip shouldn't (visually) display some of its borders? Why and in which cases? Would it be a good idea to remove left border too (when tooltip is displayed at the left)? This bug is regression from bug 821687. Sorry, comment 2 is unclear. I would agree that it was intentional if status panel at the left side had no left border (visually) and no bottom border (visually), ant status panel at the right side had no bottom border (visually). But that's not true, so current design is inconsistent.
