User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/47.0.2526.111 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

open browser and see default home page.


Actual results:

Search icon (left from the search box) has its edges cut off on top and left of the icon.


Expected results:

icon should be displayed fully

I see the case. It may be a pixel offset, may be a design issue. It seems is not a HiDPI resource.


The icon has been reduced and embedded in Fx42 and later, it is now a SVG icon.

Let us know if there are still issues in Firefox 44 (due for release next week) or later. As it is, the issue as-described no longer applies to Firefox, so I'm going to resolve this as worksforme.
