What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible. ================================================================================== The term "Ham" is not universally known (I had to have it explained to me, for example). I think it should be changed to something like "Valid" or even simply "Not Spam". What problems would this solve? =============================== Clarity FTW. Who would use this? =================== Anyone with access to spam controls. What would users see? ===================== A different label on these buttons. What would users do? What would happen as a result? =================================================== No net change to user action. Is there anything else we should know? ======================================
+1 "Not spam"
Not required for initial launch of Akismet.
Another option is to do the same as once an entry has been marked as spam: there is only 1 button that leads to the intermediate page defaulting to spam. The first time, "submit as spam" or "spam" that leads to submission form defaulting to "spam"; the second time, "resubmit" that leads to submission form without default [like now] We don't have used 'ham' one single time yet and we still don't see why we should ever use it.

:jezdez in the triage you indicated that "not spam" is not technically accurate representations of what this button does. Could you elaborate on what clicking this button accomplishes? Since no one understands what it does I do think the label will have to be changed, or a new workflow implemented.

:shobson I've replied in length to :sheppy via email and am waiting for him to work this new information into documentation first. I'm not interested in a bike-shedding around terminology right now and let the project manager :sheppy decide how to proceed.
