Steps to reproduce:

1. Ensure that e10s multi process is enabled on Firefox. 
2. Load the attached HTML file or open the following URL: http://www.fxrs.com.au/list-example.html
3. Click on the HTML select list on order to expand it to see its options. 


Actual results:

It takes a long time to expand the <select> and display its options (~5 seconds). 


Expected results:

Expect nearly instantaneous response for rendering the <select> options (less than 1 second).
