Hmm, two different cases:

One: when selecting a different search engine the 'change default search engine'
dialog box pops up and selecting cancel causes the dialog box to disappear and
then reappear immediately. The only option is to choose ok, cancel brings the
dialog up again.

Two: This time I change thesearch engine, the dialog appears, I click cancel,
but the search engine is left changed!

Odd, no consistent behaviour, but always one of the above.

I think this and 124243 are related. I'll let someone else decide if it is
related, etc, don't really know what I'm doing in bugzilla, sorry :-/

Just checked build 2002020608 and problems still persist. Completely random
behaviour. Sometimes clicking OK also brings back the dialog box. Not really
sure what is going on here. How can I help more?

Hmm, seems I didn't include the build number with the original problem: it was
build 2002020405
heywood, as in the other bug, can you reproduce this problem using a new Mozilla user profile?
Greg,

This problem no longer appears using build 2002052917 whether using a new or old
profile. Suggest the bug is set to resolved.
