User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20160106234723 Steps to reproduce: Load any of NHK news section. e.g. international news http://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/index.html?page=cat6 OS Xubuntu 14.4 Actual results: I only see one news item. Strangely, it is an item from another category (the same item is displayed no matter what category is chosen) and not even the lattest one. Right now a sports article is displayed even if I want the international news, although an international news item was published one hour after this soccer-related article. Expected results: On other browsers (e.g. Opera) , 25 titles are displayed with the links to their articles, relevant to the selected category.
Could you test: 1) in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode 2) with a fresh profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles Same result?
Flags: needinfo?(junk)
Oh, merci… So with my main user and current, this site and the etc/hosts file don't work, but Firefox works fine (both problems solved) with a fresh profile (I just used the guest user). What do I have to do to clean up the mess in the current profile?
Flags: needinfo?(junk)
You can try to remove browser cache (about:cache manually) and website cookies. After that, there is the reset feature: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-to-fix-most-problems
Thanks! I removed the cache, didn't help. I reset Firefox, the NHK display problem is solved, thanks. There is still the other problem, that Firefox ignores my etc/hosts file…
