1243181 - Strange animation leftovers from position:absolute'd objects

STR:
1) Run latest Nightly
2) Install latest FindBar Tweak 2.1.5 [1]
3) In FBT's preferences, go to the Sights pane on the left and choose the "Circle Location" sights style
4) Open https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=&sourceid=Mozilla-search
5) Open the findbar (Ctrl+F) and type "c"
6) Hit F3 a few times until it jumps to the matches at the top right corner
6.1) If you can't reproduce, start from step 4, sometimes it takes a couple of tries to reproduce it.

You'll see leftover animations from previous matches together with the new matches, as in the attached screencast. That shouldn't happen because the node containing the animation is physically removed before the new animation is created and appended to the DOM.

Matt, both bug 1221842 and bug 1231538 are good candidates for having caused this. Can you tell which one was it?

I couldn't reproduce this exactly, but I did see artifacts when selecting the 'Circle Location' sight style.

My patch for bug 1243409 fixes that, so I'm going to close this as a duplicate.

Please re-open it if the bug persists after that patch has landed.
