User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141127110711

Steps to reproduce:

When hovering mouse over the tiny tiny table edit buttons (< o > etc.), the mouse cursor used to be an arrow.
Now it is a text cursor, which is much less usable.
The strangest of it all is that I definitely see a text selection cursor but that when I make a printscreen it is an arrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ubuntu 12.04

Actual results:

Now it is a text cursor, which is even much less usable.

Expected results:

the mouse cursor used to be an arrow.
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64

Walt, can you reproduce?

Flags: needinfo?(wls220spring)

I can not reproduce using Thunderbird 78.14.0 on Fedora 34 Workstation, Gnome desktop.

When I hover the mouse over the row or column close x, the cursor changes to an arrow.

Severity: normal → S3

With 91.11
I've experimented the problem after enlarging the window with crl+.
This clearly shows shows that the cursor is an arrow on X and and the triangles BUT that it is a text cursor in between.
The problem in normal size is that it's very tricky to get the arrow cursor.
It might be easier if it remained an arrow and if the only thing the user should care of is the red dots.
