Details

Using Mozilla debug builds on WinNT and Linux, built 2002-02-08. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Load http://warp.mcom.com/u/pschwartau/JSDebuggerDemo/JSDebuggerDemo.html 2. Set a breakpoint on the single line in function showAlert() 3. In the browser, click on either colored row 4. You should now be stopped at the breakpoint 5. BUT: the breakpoint is not hit, and the function runs to completion (meaning an alertbox comes up)
Well this surely defeats the whole purpose of Venkman! Thanks for filling this Phil. I can't access the testcase provided but noticed that really any file would do to test this; it's not stopping at all in current builds no matter the file. Confirming bug on Linux 2002020921 -- Rob some escalated attention here would be nice :)
I'll have a look as soon as I can.
