As part of the maintenance mode transition, we're going to remove MOWs from the marketplace -- and their associated UI components (like from the mobile homepage).
Important addendum: we *only* want to remove MOWs that are *not* for TV.
Summary: Remove MOWs from the marketplace → Remove MOWs (websites) not for TV from the marketplace
Since we only want to remove MOWs that are *not* for TV, IMHO we should:
- Change fireplace to remove all support for websites, never send website as a doc_type to the API, change the menu etc
- After that, remove Websites not compatible with TV
- Probably keep all zamboni code, just because it's easier that way.
That wfm. All the more if it gives you that sense of satisfaction. ;)

Verified on MP-dev FF48(Win 7).
Following the next steps:
1. Make a blank search
2. Go to the bottom of the page
3. Observe some websites listed (i.e. itismy.TV)

Accessing details page for that website and clicking on the ("Explore more in") News link a bunch of other websites are listed. I cannot see those websites if I access the News category directly from the menu.

Websites should no longer appear in site nav or in search.

As far as I understand from this bug, websites for TV should still be listed on FF OS, yes?

Verified on MP-dev on FF OS 2.1 and Desktop FF48(Win 7):
1. FF OS :
- "Sites" removed from menu: http://screencast.com/t/hzv0hSzYOwp
- "Sites" still displayed in "More": http://screencast.com/t/VHxDe4so5UAM
- Weird "app-sites" displayed :) : http://screencast.com/t/Scn3YCYd

2. Desktop:
"app-sites" displayed here too, after a blank search: http://screencast.com/t/iVgK6wuF8v2S

No. Websites for TV should only appear on TV, nothing else.
