Some elements of this page, e.g. Teacher Assistant name and phone number, list of exercises, are not displayed. This is weird because the page is pretty simple. The bug happens in 9.8 and in 9.6
All of the page renders if I chang doctype from <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Draft//EN"> to <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
according to comments in bug 86273, the document type is invalid.
not only does the page have an invalid doctype (that chocks the validator at w3c) it also has plenty of invalid comments. accroding to the page, this is the person responsible: email@example.com Marking bug as NEW
Accepting. A message was sent to the web site owner describing the cause of the problems and how to fix them in a way that would work for all standards-compliant browsers including Mozilla, Netscape 6, IE, Opera, and other browsers. Let's hope she responds soon.
There are in all total 6 invalid comment instances on the page. When you correct all 6 of them using the following template, the problems reported here go away. <!-- comments --> The author should also eliminate the invalid DOCTYPE line to be sure.
The page is no longer there (Apache -> "The requested URL /~ljonathan/NN2/ was not found on this server."), here's the correct link: http://www.cs.huji.ac.il/~aharonbh/nn2/ Anyway, all is well now. Please mark as WORKSFORME and close this bug. Prog.
