User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0
Build ID: 20160210153822
Steps to reproduce:
- Firefox is closed, shows profile manager on startup to choose profile
- Click on link in another app
- Firefox starts and shows profile choose menu
- Choose profile
Actual results:
The clicked link is not shown in a new tab
Expected results:
The clicked link should be shown in a new tab
Could you attach a screnshot of your profile manager after step 1.
Component: Untriaged → Startup and Profile System
Flags: needinfo?(davcrome)
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
I guess if you check the second checkbox about starting the highlighted profile by default, the link is open in a new tab?
Sure, but that's not what I want. I want to, every time the firefox is closed and the profile manager pops up, choose the right profile. And if I click one of the available profiles the before clicked link should be shown in a new tab. So the profile manager remembers the link because the firefox starts and pass it to firefox to show the link. I don't want to set a default profile.
