Bug 1245642 is about implementing a notification to tell the user they have some unread bookmarks. Likely added through the Share overlay, etc. 

Once the notification is pressed, the user will be taken to the Bookmarks panel. Here, we should indicate which bookmarks we were talking about in the notification to offer a more holistic experience. 

In this screenshot, I've got the title as Roboto, Medium, #363B40 (same font size and everything), and the URL is Roboto regular, #5F6368.

I like it. 

Shouldn't we do this for all unread bookmarks or only the one coming from the reminders? Because that would also be a nice addition to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1232866

If we decide to do the bold for all unread bookmarks, maybe the reminder pointer could be presented as highlighted rows?!?!!?

Remember, the only way we know whether something has been "read" or not is if it's in the history database.

If the user clears their history, every item will be marked "unread". This could be undesirable.

Margaret points out one of the edge cases we'll run into with this concept. There are others, and we'll discover more. Let's make sure we get the "engagement" aspects of unread bookmarks scoped and landed before doing too much with this feature.
