Comments:
We are going to migrate our support forum http://forum.mozilla.cz/ to SUMO during March, but there are some extra sub-forums SUMO is missing:
- Support for SeaMonkey
- L10N and testing
- Add-ons development and tech. evangelization
- Mozilla.cz related discussions

I am still not 100% decided if to close them completely, leave active on the forum or redirect to Mozilla Discourse (and "splitting" the current forum on two places), so I would like to ask:
- Is Mozilla Discourse open for registration to anyone (without being Mozillian)?
- If you can create a subforum for our local community, can you grant admin/moderator to me, so I will be able to rename topics, move to appropriate category, delete spam or even create new subcategories?
Hi Michal,

We've just created a similar setup for Mozilla Brazil where they have subcategories into the main category. In your case, you can also have the same created.

To answer your questions;
- Yes, one can sign-up without being a mozillian. They just won't access the mozillian category or the restricted areas
- We can also work on the moderation bit once we have the setup completed.

Do let us know how you'd like to proceed. I'll just copy in some of the team members on this.

Great! So let's proceed to the forum setup. Meanwhile, I decided to copy all sub-forums, which won't fit on SUMO, almost 1:1 (descriptions in the brackets):
- "Podpora SeaMonkey" (Podpora a diskuse věnovaná balíku webových aplikací SeaMonkey.)
- "Lokalizace a testování" (Diskuse věnovaná české lokalizaci a testování aplikací Mozilla a jejich rozšíření.)
- "Vývoj a tech. evengalizace" (Diskuse týkající se vývoje doplňků pro aplikace Mozilla a přístupných webů.)

The main forum can be:
- "Mozilla.cz" (Česká komunita aplikací Mozilla)

Just ping me, if you need more info or cooperation with the setup. ;)

Good progress. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the main category more definitive like Mozilla Czech other than Mozilla.cz?

For a non-techie, this would be confusing if not hard to understand on the first view.

You're right, Michael. Our Discourse discussions won't be much intended for common users, and if so, they will be linked from our website/current forum directly in the right sub-forum or topic. For others, stumbling through Discourse, who haven't heard about Mozilla.cz, is "Mozilla Czech" or "Mozilla Czech (Mozilla.cz)" better.

This is done : https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/mozilla-czech

Will update once we have approval for moderation for you.

Great, it works!
Sorry, I have made a typo. Can we change "Vývoj a tech. evengalizace" to "Vývoj a tech. evangelizace", please? Seems, that's something I cannot change.

the two are identical to the one on discourse : Vývoj a tech. evangelizace

https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/mozilla-czech/vyvoj-a-tech-evengalizace

what should it read?

I've made a typo in comment #2 above. The word "evengalizace" should be "evangelizace" (switched "e" and "a").

I've corrected that
There is still "evangAlizace", the middle "a" to be replaced by "e". It's the same as in English "evangelization", but with "-ce" instead of "-tion" at the end.
check now?
Now it's right. Sorry for the typo.
