Details

I have an add-on that I installed on the latest Fennec Nightly:
https://github.com/leibovic/alwaysreader

I tried setting a breakpoint in bootstrap.js through WebIDE, and while it paused execution, it did not activate the debugger UI (i.e. couldn't inspect variables, restart execution).

This is broken in desktop Nightly and Dev Edition. I do know this did work at some point, but I haven't tried it in a while, so I'm not sure when it would have regressed.
Hoping to test this out soon. Initially seems more related to debugger than WebIDE, so moving for now.
Component: Developer Tools: WebIDE → Developer Tools: Debugger
This is basic debugger behavior that should just work, so I'm marking this as P1.
Priority: -- → P1
I can verify this fails currently. I tried to use mozregression to check historical Fennec builds, but I couldn't get them to install correctly to either my device or an Android emulator. :(
I have several P1s assigned to me already so I can't take this. If someone can, assign P1 and take it.
Priority: P1 → P2
Product: Firefox → DevTools

@Margaret: can you still reproduce the problem? A lot changed since this was reported and this is can be fixed already.
