Hi Mike, The network error work well in the simulator you provide (2.6/Latest). I add two attachments for those test result. The Bug 125018 didn't land in v2.5, so the test result would work well. And also I think Bug 1239955 didn't land in v2.5 too.

Hi Mike, We think this is the platform issue after discuss with kershaw. Should we open a follow up bug for tracing the platform issue and close this bug ?

On real TV, case 1 won't fall into this path because partner has a custom UI to deal with it before opening the app. I suggest we stop here as long as it looks good on real TV.

After discussed with Kershaw offline, it's caused by platform returned value differences. File bug1253488 for further tracking
