[Note]: Reproduced with: - QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.9 (Gecko Media Player 1.0.9 Video Player Plug-in for QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Player streams using MPlayer) on Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit - QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.6 (The Videos 3.10.1 plugin handles videos and audio streams) on Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit [Affected versions]: - Firefox 44.0 - Firefox 45 beta 9 - latest Aurora 46.0a2 2016-02-24 - latest Nightly 47.0a1 2016-02-24 [Affected platforms]: - Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit - Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Go to http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/highstrung/ (or any other trailer from this site) 2. Press play and allow quicktime plugin to play 3. While the video is played, hover the mouse over it 4. After the video ends, select the "Watch again" option [Expected result]: 3 - No artifacts while playing the video 4 - The video is replayed [Actual result]: 3 - Something that looks like a broken video cursor overlaps the video 4 - Video doesn't start again [Regression range]: - The issue reproduces back to Firefox 41.0.2, so it's not a recent regression

This is an old regression as Firefox 14.0.1 doesn't have the artifact and the first bad build that I found is 15.0.1. I will try to find the exact regression range, if the inbound builds are still available.

We don't really care about quicktime on any platform, no less a non-Apple "quicktime" plugin on Linux. We should really just stop testing this configuration.

OK, marking wontfix for current branches. I had a different impression about caring about quicktime from bug 1262149.
