For the staging release in bug 1251068.
Summary: Slave loan request for two bld-linux64-ec2 vm → Slave loan request for bld-linux64-ec2 vm
Email sent to :nthomas for further instructions. Loaning machines: - dev-linux64-ec2-2016 Hi Nick, I am going to assign this to you to keep track of the loan. When you are finished with the loan forever, please comment stating so here in the bug, and mark the bug as RESOLVED. By the way, now that this aws instance has been created, starting and stopping it can happen in a flash! If you are not going to be using this machine for multiple hours, let us know in this bug and we can stop it. Comment again when you want it started back up. * For faster turnaround, ping #releng (look for nick with 'buildduty')
Turns out I need machines closer to production than a loaner, with puppet and runner still available. I've terminated dev-linux64-ec2-2016 and recreated it as dev-linux64-ec2-nthomas. Didn't have any issues with puppet certs when I did that.
Planning to leave this open, need a slave every now and then.
For my records - I rebuilt this today for bug 1380605.

Hello Nick, As there are roughly 8 months since we loaned this to you, I would like to verify if you still need the loaned machine. If you still need it, that's no problem! Simply let us know that you still work on it, if not please let us know the machine is not needed anymore, so we know to reclaim it. Thank you.
Thanks for the reminder, please go ahead with removing it.
