Attached file The file I was editing
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0
Build ID: 20160210153822

Steps to reproduce:

The problem started after general browsing, and editing of vector.html

I created a new html file to try find what was causing it. This was the minimal html required:
<html><body>
<style>a:hover { text-decoration:none }</style>
The style tag is just to make it clearer that ff 44.0.2 link mousover is offset to the right<br>
<a href="http://example.com">example 1</a><br>
<a href="http://example.com">example 2</a>
</body></html>

But it also happened with other variations, such as using <!doctype html>

I'm afraid restarting ff has resolved this problem, so I don't know how to reproduce it

Everything else seemed to be working fine

Actual results:

Links appeared fine, but responded to mouseover/hover events about 50px to the right of where the links were drawn

Expected results:

Mouse interactions with a link should of happened where the link is drawn
WFm with ff44 on win7.

If you cant reproduce it after restarting FF or the computer, I guess we can close it.
Well, I don't know why, but the bug's come back...
It's exhibiting on all open tabs -- whether reloaded since the ff restart or not
Hi Samuel,

I haven't managed to reproduce this issue on the latest release(44.0.2) nor latest Nightly(47.0a1). I've pasted the code you provided in w3schools.com editor, but the links didn't respond to hover events 50px to the right. Any other tab that has links works correctly. Hovering to the right of a link by one pixel, does not trigger an hover event, nor any other interactions with that link(click, right click, middle click). Can you please provide more details about this issue? A screen shot or a video recording would be helpful, as well as any additional details that could help to reproduce this issue on my end.

Also, can you please try to reproduce this on the latest release(44.0.2) and latest Nightly(47.0a1) and provide the results? When doing this, please try to reproduce with a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even in safe mode, as some of this issues may be caused by third party installed add-ons or custom settings(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems).

Thanks,
Paul.
