Allow to save a webpage as link only (.url extension). Not existent option actually.

Drag the favicon at urlbar is working for that purpose.

You want it to be available in Save As dialog?

I didn't know that, sorry. Yes, in Save dialog would be great!

While I understand your idea, but I'm not sure if it belong to "Save As", and we already have the bookmarks feature.

Do you mind if we close this bug? Then you can request an add-on (for example, on http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=19), or try like the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/plainoldfavorites/, it save the .url file to IE favorites.

I see however installing addons is not always possible, specially if you don't have administrative privileges on the computer. Anyway thanks for the tip.
