Steps to reproduce:

1/ Open Facebook Messenger at messenger.com
2/ Click on anyone's name to open a conversation

Reproductibility :
- Does not happen in non-e10s window
- Still happens with all add-ons disabled
- Still happens in Safe Mode


Actual results:

A new tab opens with the conversation


Expected results:

The conversation should load in the same window

Yup, it's exactly the same login and platform

I can't reproduce it with Firefox DE in e10s mode, the conversation is displayed in the middle of the tab, not in a new window: http://i.imgur.com/aLHq0Ut.jpg

Hm, I also can't reproduce on my local machine.

rick, are you able to reproduce this in a new profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles#w_creating-a-profile

Also can you paste the "Important Modified Preferences" section from your about:support in your default profile?
