User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Build ID: 20160303134406
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open https://twitter.com/SwiftOnSecurity/status/707391775149785088
Actual results:
You will only see the thumbnail(?) of the video. The video doesn't play and play button will disappear very soon.
Expected results:
Play button should be visible and video should play.
If you open the video directly (https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/EB7BDDCF4B1319160820470566912_509bdf0d57a.7.0.15571938790539103001.mp4?versionId=i8q6dkKmlczpUUr5ijz2n_uDSjB3IgtC) it will play in Firefox.
The embedded video works in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on the same system.
PS: This isn't new in FF 45, I have the problem since a few version.
It is working in safe-mode (firefox.exe -safe-mode) however it is not working in a vanilla/refreshed profile?!
It will work if you change your UA to:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
